The five members of The Black Market Trust imbue each performance with an obvious love of music bringing a contagious, upbeat, toe tapping joy. These live performances are a hallmark of the group as they tour wide and far across the U.S.

Their debut album “The Black Market Trust,” has become a milestone in the genre of gypsy jazz. Their music is featured on TV shows like the ABC television series “Happy Endings” and the Hulu original program “Casual.” The band features the Django Reinhardt inspired gypsy sound of acoustic instruments, and infuses classics from the Great American Songbook with intricate vocal harmonies inspired by The Beach Boys. Their sophomore album “II” produced a Top Ten hit on the Adult Contemporary charts with a signature version of “Route 66”.

Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb continue to wow audiences around the globe with their world-class guitar show. Loren and Mark share a unique musical chemistry, and are the perfect match in both virtuosity and sensitive musicality. The pair are known for their stunning original instrumentals, electrifying improvisation, beautiful renditions of classic melodies, and superb vocal duets. Loren and Mark’s diverse repertoire draws on many musical influences- including Americana, Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass, Gypsy Jazz. Their unique style of guitar playing is largely built upon the thumb-picking techniques pioneered by guitar greats Merle Travis and Chet Atkins. This is guitar playing like you've never heard before!

Richard Smith started playing the guitar at age 5 and has never looked back.  Focusing early on with the finerstyle guitar of Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed, he began transcribing classical music, Jazz, the gypsy style of Django Reinhardt, bluegrass, ragtime and the blues to even Sousa marches.  Now a seasoned performer in his 40s with thousdands of perfrmances worldwide to his credit, Richard has become renowned worldwide for his mastery of instrument and for his knock-out entertaining shows.   Some of Richards Career Achievements include: 1999 AFG Golden Thumbpick Award, 2001 National Guitar Champion, 2008 Thumbpicker of the year, 2009 National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame Induction, and many, many more.​

The New West Guitar Group has developed a widespread reputation as one of the premier guitar ensembles in the world.  Featuring guitarists Perry Smith, John Storie & Will Brahm, they perform recognizable covers, jazz standards and exciting originals.  Their signature sound comes from an innovative style that highlights rhythm, beauty and virtuosity through combining acoustic and electric guitars.  They actively tour throughout the US and abroad.

His recordings have garnered world-wide recognition.  Consistently averaging 150 shows a year in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, his music encompasses a delightful and eclectic mix of acoustic roots, blues, folk and early ragtime jazz. Along the way there are stylish nods to the Great American Songbook and the finest contemporary players and composers from Chet Atkins to Lennon and McCartney.
